A stop at the mountain pass Tizi’n Tichka et visit of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.

Ouarzazate, or “noiseless” in Berber, gathers Kasbahs, Oasis and valleys and is located where oued Ouarzazate and oued Dades (comes from the Atlas) meet and form oued Draa. It’s also considered the center of a vast region in the South of Morocco. Ouarzazate shows the beauty of southern foothills of the Atlas and the close desert.

The countless Kasbahs, the arid mountains and plains, the valleys and oasis, the palm groves and the villages of the Red City make the charm of the region and make it more attractive and magical to tourists.

The road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate allows you to enjoy the High Atlas and the beautiful sceneries it has to offer as well as the small villages and Kasbahs all over the way.

Before reaching Ouarzazate, a stop is required to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a fortress located on a hill and is considered a real museum city. This site has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987.

Then after reaching Ouarzazate you will have Some free time and coming back to Marrakech.

Itinerary

The excursion includes a visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site. The program continues with a tour of nearby movie studios, where several famous films have been shot. There is also a break to take pictures of the surrounding Berber villages and enjoy the scenic landscape.
