A tour starting from Marrakech to the south of Morocco. On the way discover the magnificent landscapes of southern Morocco and the berber villages by taking the road that crosses the Atlas mountains. Stop at the Tizi’N Tichka pass and visit the essentials kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and the one of Telouet. Overnight in the unmissable sand dunes of Merzouga, passing through the Todra and Dades gorges. Travel along the road of the 1001 Kasbahs and the one of the famous caravans of other times.

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora
Departure from your place of stay to begin the discovery of southern Morocco. Crossing of the Hout Atlas to reach the Col du Tizin Tichka and continuation to Ouarzazate.
Visit of the Taourirte kasbah, lunch break and continuation to Zagora via the village of Agdez, located 69km south of Ouarzazate. It is located on the old merchant caravan route linking Marrakech and Timbuktu. Visit of the old village with its traditional houses and gardens all around the palm grove.
Continue to Zagora, a real gold mine for lovers of Art-Deco architecture. Dinner and accommodation in Zagora.
Day 2 : Zagora – Alnif – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, departure to Merzouga, taking the route of the famous caravans of other times. Throughout the journey, a scroll of different landscapes is offered to you: desert landscapes, plains, oases, palm groves …
Arrive in Merzouga for a camel ride of about 2 hours to reach your bivouac and have a good time in the sand dunes and especially during the sunset.
Dinner around a wood fire with songs and dances from the region. Overnight in the tents of your bivouac.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Gorges du Todra
We will admire the sunrise and we head on the back of camels to Merzouga. Breakfast will be served in a charming inn then departure to Rissani, capital of the Alaouite Dynasty currently in power. Crossing the Ziz valley before waiting for the famous Todra gorges, reaching in several places the height of 300 meters.
Day 4 : Gorges du Todra – Gorges Dades – Vallée des Roses – Ouarzazate
after breakfast departure to Ouarzazate, crossing the Draa valley and taking the road of 1001 Kasbahs to Kalaa des Mgouna, famous village for its rose which blooms every year from mid-April to mid-May. On the way visit the Dades gorges.
Continuation of our trip to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Aït Benhaddou – Kasbah Telouet – Marrakech
Departure from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the magnificent Kasbahs: Aït Benhaddou and Telouet.
The Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, visit of this fortress which is part of the world heritage and classified by UNESCO. It has also been the setting for several world famous films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia… ..
The Telouet Kasbah: An architectural gem located in the south of Morocco and testifying to the passage of one of the strongest and richest pashas in the history of Morocco. It offers breathtaking views of the green mountains and Berber villages in the region.
Continuation to Marrakech and return to your place of stay.
