About this tour

Trip from Marrakech to the Ourika valley and the village Setti Fatma, visit of a Berber house, the Berber souk available only every Monday and breaks to discover and take pictures of the wonderful sceneries of the region and the Berber villages.

Your trip will start from your resort at Marrakech to get to the Atlas Mountains and visit the fruitful Ourika Valley.

In less than an hour, you will cross lands bordered by flat and thorny cacti and eucalyptus until Setti Fatma, with its beautiful nature and sceneries.

Once you get there, you can start a hike to admire and explore the seven waterfalls of Ourika, the river surrounded by Berber houses. If you’re a nature or adventure lover, you can’t miss this hike. It gives you the chance to see and enjoy all the charms that it has to offer.

Then it’s time for a lunch break in one of the local restaurants of the region near the river. You’ll try a Berber tajine while enjoying a real moment of relaxation.

Itinerary

The excursion in the Ourika Valley may include a visit to Anima, the André Heller Garden, and a stop at an argan oil cooperative to learn about the production process. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the Atlas Mountains and visit a traditional Berber house. On Mondays, the program also includes a visit to the Ourika Souk to explore the local market.
